Great News

So I don't know how many know this; but my Mission President got cancer. It was really scary he had the leave the mission about a month and a half ago to have surgery! The Return Missionaries and the Missionaries still out in the field all held a special fast for our dear President. Well I just received some very good news. President Gill is back in the Mission. His DR doesn't understand how he is back so soon; he shouldn't have been back for a couple more weeks. The power of prayer and fasting my dear friend named DR. Its the power of prayer and fasting.

The Lost Sheep

So I am taking this really great institute class it is on the Parables of Jesus Christ. Pretty much the most amazing class ever. Well today the lesson was on the story of the Lost Sheep. My teacher told us this most remarkable story that I just had to share make sure you have tissues close by. So there was this girl her name was Julie(not real name) well Julie was a great Latter-Day Saint kid her dad was a Bishop. Well one day Julie wanted to go to a party and her parents didn't want her to go. Well like most young teenagers Julie went anyway. That night at the party Julie was tempted with things that weren't so great. She awoke the next morning to find herself in bed with a guy that she didn't know. Because of this huge mistake Julie felt that she couldn't go home so she didn't and she had not talked to her parents in seventeen years. Yes I typed it write seventeen years. Well to make a long story short Julie decided to go back to church. Her Bishop helped her and even incouraged her to call her parents. Her parents thought that she was most likely dead. Well Julie couldn't because she didn't think that her parents would want to hear from her because of all the bad things that she had done. So Julie waited to contact her parents and she also started to put her life in order. This took her two more years. So by this time it had been almost NINETEEN years. Well on the day that Julie was going to get her fellowship back in the church her wise Bishop said don't you think that it is time to call your parents? Julie didn't know what to do she didn't even know where to begin to find them. Well her Bishop knew because Julies parents were in her stake the Bishop even knew them. So you can imagine the sweet reunion that took place. I can't really explain the story in writing but if you want to hear more about it give me a call. It is amazing how Heavenly Father looks out for his childen and will always love them no matter what!

CMT GIANTS

So while in L.A. we were able to go to this concert called CMT Giants. It was pretty cool. There were a lot of cool people there. Here are some pictures. You couldn't use flash photo so I took them with my phone. The people in the pictures are Gretchen Wilson, Steven Tyler, Toby Keith, Brooke and I. The concert will be on Country Music Television on November 17.

Halloween at Disneyland

Last week my cousin Dallas and I were in LA for a really cool concert! We decided while we were there that we would go to Disneyland! It was so much fun. It was all decorated for Halloween. The Haunted Mansion has been turned into the Nightmare before Christmas; it was all pretty cool. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is awesome pretty much because Captain Jack Sparrow is in it!! Not to mention Space Mountain it gets me everytime!!
