MR RODEO UTAH

So for the Miss Rodeo Utah Gala dinner we held a MR Rodeo Utah contest. I talked one of the Elders from my mission(who returned home with me so no worries he didn't break any rules!) into being in the contest. The funny thing about is that he is a total city boy. The reason that I am adding this to my blog is because I have some friends from my mission who want to see these pictures so here it is just for you TIKE!

PRICELESS

Ok so I am a huge UofU fan. However being the good sport that I am I had to laugh at this. 6 Hotdogs-$12 Designer Shorts-$96 Souvenir Boots from Laramie- $150

Having this guy NOT be a BYU fan...

PRICELESS

Hoover Dam

While in Las Vegas we decided that since we had nothing to do (ha ha) that we should head out to Hoover Dam. None of us had ever been there. It was quite an experience. I of course being the one afraid of heights was a little hesitant to look all the way over the edge.

Miss Rodeo America Part 1

Because Jenna is Miss Rodeo Utah she got to represent our great state in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant. I don't have all of my pictures uploaded yet so here is part one. Part two will come at a later time!

I was trying to teach my cousin Dallas how to dance. So that he could go and ask Miss Rodeo Tennessee to dance with him. He had a great pick line already to use. It goes a little something like this:
He says: Are you from Tennessee
She says: YES why?
He says: Cause you are the only TEN I SEE
In the end he chickened out but can you blame him with a pick up line like that.

We Love New York

Jordynn and I decided that it would be fun to have a photo shoot and in the words of Tyra Banks here are our best photos!

JD my brother is serving a LDS mission in New York City. So he sent us these shirts and we decided to wear them in our family picture for our Christmas Card!

My FAMILY

So I thought that I would share a little bit about my family!
First off we have my dad his name is Dave. He takes care of us like there is no tomorrow! Well actually he has to because with 3 girls who have needs aka wants that are comparable to the Queen of England he has to work hard! My mom is Carla she is pretty much the typical mom always putting her kids before herself. That has to be pretty hard to do. But she does a great job at it.
Then there is me! I am the oldest. Which also means that pretty much I was the boss, always telling my younger siblings what to do how to do it and when to do it. In return they told me where I could put it! I served a mission in the Arizona Phoenix Mission I had 4 areas: Flagstaff 5 1/2 months, Surprise 9 months, North Phoenix 3 1/2 months, and lastly Peoria 4 weeks. It was a great experience. I am now at USU just trying to figure out what to do when I grow up. JD is the only boy. I know what you're thinking there are 2 boys in the picture keep reading and I will explain! He has a lot to handle with 3 sisters but he did a good job at it. When he wasn't causing accidents that would send his sisters into either the hospital, HYSTERICS, or just plain tears! He is now serving a mission in the New York New York South mission where he is doing a great job.
Jenna is after JD. She is the I am going to do what I want of the group. I don't mean that in a bad way. If there is is something she wants she is going to go after it until she gets it. I remember one time she wanted her room painted dad said no but she did it anyway. While painting she accidentally tripped over the pain can and it spilt on the carpet she did to her credit have a sheet down however it leaked through. So not only did she get her room painted she also got new carpet. She has now followed her biggest dream of all and has become Miss Rodeo Utah. It is a great accomplishment and we are all so proud of her.
Jordynn is the baby of the family. By the time she arrived I think mom was tired because I remember at family parties which should really be called events because of how many there are. Seriously it is a surprise that we don't have the local law enforcement directing traffic. Back to what I was saying at family parities my mom would be getting the three older kids plates of food and we couldn't find Jordynn and when we finally did she was in the food line with her own plate standing on her tip toes trying to get some of that yummy jello salad! On a more serious note Jordynn is the peace maker of our house and with out her I think dad would be in Jail mom would be in the half way house and us kids well I would rather not think about that! HAHA. Ok so now to Carson. Well he is our cousin. My moms oldest sisters son. He came to live with us when he was 15 and has become part of the family!
